Symptoms

11.1.1.7.0 Library OVD

Planning to use libOVD and adapter configuration files from Test into Production (Prod), but Production looks different for the same Active Directories.

For example, there are three Active Directory (MS AD) providers configured in Test and Prod systems.

Unable to connect using WLST to modify/tune settings in Production because some adapters, such as DefaultAuthenticator and MyActiveDirectory, exist in Test system but are not listed in the Prod's $FMW_HOME/user_projects\domains\my_domain\config\fmwconfig\ovd\default\adapters_os.xml file.

How to merge and modify these settings so Test and Prod behave similarly?

Will deleting the providers missing in Prod and recreating them, or merging the missing configuration, resolve the issue?  If so, how should this be done?
