Enterprise Capture Import Processor Does Not Pick Up Emails With Attachment File Names Containing Special Characters (i.e. ":", "/" and "\") and Error "Error extracting attachment" Occurs (Doc ID 1990770.1)

Symptoms

Enterprise Capture is not picking up certain emails from the inbox. The stack trace from the Capture Managed Server is displaying a special character (e.g. ":" or "\" or "/" character) in the filename. The stack trace appears as:
