Last updated on NOVEMBER 19, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Public changelog cookie is not same on OUD nodes and in this example we have only 2 servers in the topology and you can see 4 CSNs in lastExternalChangelogCookie attribute. Two CSNs are in reference to the old ServerIDs that are no longer present in the topology -

$ $ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapsearch -h <HOST1> -p <PORT1> -D cn=<SUFFIX_DN> -j /<pwd-file> -s base -b "" "objectclass=*" lastExternalChangelogCookie

dn:
lastExternalChangelogCookie: cn=<SUFFIX_DN>:<ECL1> <ECL2> <ECL3> <ECL4>;

$ $ORACLE_HOME/bin/ldapsearch -h <HOST2> -p <PORT2> -D cn=<SUFFIX_DN> -j /<pwd-file> -s base -b "" "objectclass=*" lastExternalChangelogCookie

dn:
lastExternalChangelogCookie: cn=<SUFFIX_DN>:<ECL1> <ECL2> <ECL5> <ECL4>;
