Oracle Traffic Director Fails To Maintain Session Persistence When Proxying Requests To Oracle Forms Cluster (Doc ID 1995419.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Traffic Director (OTD) is configured to front-end a cluster of Oracle Forms application. Access to http://OTD_servername:port/forms/frmservlet?config=rms returns runtime error as shown in below screenshot:



The formsapp-diagnostic.log has errors similar to the following:


If OTD is configured to proxy requests to an origin server pool that contains only one Forms server (as opposed to a cluster of Forms servers), the access to Forms application via OTD is successful.
