Goal

For SSL connections from Java SE 7 clients, the default handshake protocol version is TLS v1.0.  This document describes ways to to enable TLS v1.2 as the default protocol for Java SE 7 clients.

 

Note: Java 7 SSLServerSocket has TLS 1.2 enabled by default.  This document discusses client sockets only.
