B2B 11g - Java Callout is Not Working for AS2 Protocol (Doc ID 1997597.1)

Symptoms

In Orcle B2B a java callout is not invoked when using AS2 protocol, however the same callout works fine with file listening channel. The problem is specific to AS2.
