Symptoms
Attempting to access the Documents Service in WebCenter Portal using RIDC SSL Socket Port after Updating the JDK/JRE version, the following error occurs.
The Documents service is unavailable.
Error contacting the content repository.
The WC_Spaces-diagnostic.log shows the following error:

Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Start with WebCenter Portal configured to connect to UCM using RIDC SSL Socket Port.
- Update the JDK.
e.g. some of the known JDK/JRE versions having the issue (but not limiteed to) are:
JDK160 Oracle JRockit R28.3.4 or later
Oracle JDK/JRE 7 Update 72 or later
Oracle JDK 6 Update 95
- Restart the domain and access the Documents Service from WebCenter Portal.
