Users are Unable to Login to Imaging and the Imaging System becomes Slow and Unresponsive (Doc ID 1999735.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 28, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.6.0 to 11.1.1.8.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Some users cannot log into the WCC Imaging client. After entering credentials, the login page hangs approximately 10 minutes and then displays "Invalid Credentials specified".   When this is happening, other users report that the WCC Imaging system, the WebLogic Server (WLS) console, and Enterprise Manager are slow. At times WCC Imaging goes to an unhealthy state and eventually Imaging needs to be restarted.

Thread dumps of the WCC Imaging application show the following:

[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '2' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'" daemon prio=6 tid=0x00000000160d0000 nid=0x1f90 runnable [0x000000001d449000]
