Symptoms

On : 11.1.1.8.0 version, Content Server

When 5 or more tabs are Opened in a browser Accessing the WebCenter ADF Content UI, a Timeout Error Occurs

The timeout is related to the number of pages opened in the browser.

Current Content UI configuration:


wls:/wccui_domain/serverConfig> displayWccAdfConfig(appName='Oracle WebCenter Content - Web UI')
 DocumentPreview = DOCUMENT_VIEWER
 MaximumWindowsPerSession = 7


ERROR

“Because of inactivity, your session has timed out and no longer active. Click OK to reload Page.”


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Step1: Login to WebCenter ADF ContentUI
Step2: Once logged in open a document from the result list.
Step3: Repeat step 2 but with a different document
Step4: Repeat step 2 but with a different document
Step5: Repeat step 2 but with a different document
Step6: Repeat step 2 but with a different document
Step7: Go back to the first document preview tab that was opened, click on metadata tab.
