When Using Internet Explorer 11 with an IPM 10.1.3.6 ASPX Form, Errors "System Cannot Find The Path Specified" or "Error 404" are Returned after a Package Complete (Doc ID 2002835.1)

Symptoms

In Imaging and Process Management 10.1.3.6, end users are utilizing a custom ASPX form where the complete operation occurs with a custom button on the form instead of the normal complete button on the toolbar. When using Internet Explorer (IE) 11 in compatibility mode, after clicking the complete button, the package moves on in the workflow, and the screen displays a 404 Error. When configuring the browser to not show friendly errors, the following message is displayed:

‘The system cannot find the path specified’

In debugging the issue, the below function (which is produced as part of the form skeleton) is causing the issue:
