Symptoms

Message Driven Beans connecting to a Multi Instance MQ Manager (MQ7.x) via Foreign JMS Server

A WLS JMS Producer (any JMS client, MDB)  connecting to a MQ Manager as Foreign Provider

When the MQ Manager crashes due to any reason and failovers to the other instance, you will see the below thread hanging on the server where the MDB is deployed (JMS Consumer) and it never recovers from


        
Whereas the JMS producer is able to reconnect to the available MQ Manager.
