Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g (or 11g), e.g. 10.1.2.3.

Cannot modify root DSE with DBMS_LDAP:

ORA-31211: DBMS_LDAP: PL/SQL - Invalid LDAP entry dn.
