Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2022

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Some members of a Space/Portal cannot be removed for the Space/Portal or have their role privileges altered.

When attempting to make these changes errors such as the following appear in the WebCenter Space/Portal application log.

Caused by:oracle.security.jps.service.policystore.PolicyObjectNotFoundException: javax.naming.directory.NoSuchAttributeException: [LDAP: error code 16 - One or more values for attribute uniquemember does not exist]; remaining name 'cn=s03cc77e7_6a12_5561_8e03_44e82cbby513\#-\#Moderator,cn=Roles,cn=webcenter,cn=WCP_domain,cn=JPSContext,cn=root_webcenter_WCP'

The user retains the privileges of the Role.
The user may not be removed from the Role.
The user may not be re-added to the Role.

Changes

Code or manual processes have been executed to correct repported dangling references in the OID hosting the OPSS data store.  These dangling references include the uniquemember attribute of the OPSS metadata for the Space/Portal role granted to the affected user.
