"File Not Found" Exception Thrown for Filegroup1.jar During OPSS Client Install Step of 11.1.1.7 ODI Installation (Doc ID 2008249.1)

Symptoms

While attempting a fresh installation of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11.1.1.7 onto a Windows 7 32 bit machine, using the following installation file as obtained from eDelivery:
 select Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System (11.1.2.3.0) Media Pack for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)
 download the Oracle Data Integrator Studio Release 11.1.1.7.0. V37940-01

The installation fails during "Install Phase 1 of component Oracle OPSS Client" with the following error:

 

The issue was encountered when performing the following steps:

  1. Download software installation file V37940-01 from eDelivery.
  2. Follow the "Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle Data Integrator" documentation to perform installation steps
  3. Observe error is thrown during installation.
