Inconsistent Results when Searching Assets with Underscore and Numbers in the Name (Doc ID 2012784.1)

Symptoms

Searching for assets that have underscore character and numbers in the name via the Contributor UI Global search will return inconsistent results .
If we have two assets named:

A) "my_article_test"

B) "my_article_1_test"

Searching for "my_article" will only return A but not B .
