Symptoms
In a custom WebCenter Portal application running in WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8, especially if the application is designed to use multiple languages.
Users can encounter intermittent issues where some pieces of text on the screen are shown in a language other than the expected language.
Also, at times labels are not displayed correctly to the users.
Example:
'???<label name>???' is displayed instead of the correct 'label name' value.
