When using an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.1.3 User Function in Mappings, such as:

ODI User function code (Oracle implementation):

regexp_like ($(p_string),'^[-]{0,0}[0-9]{1,10}\z')

... special characters such as

   square brackets

are removed in the generated code resulting in incorrect SQL . Moreover, this depends on the precise ODI Knowledge Module used.

For example,

regexp_like ($(p_string),'^[-]{0,0}[0-9]{1,10}\z')

in IKM Oracle Insert generates following SQL snippet:

... and (regexp_like(<SCHEMA_NAME>.<TABLE_NAME>,'^-{0,0}0-9{1,10}\z'))

in IKM SQL Control Append the following SQL is generated:

... and (regexp_like(<SCHEMA_NAME>.<TABLE_NAME>,'^-{0,0}0-9{1,10}z'))
