(Doc ID 2023556.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 22, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture - Version 11.1.1.8.0 to 11.1.1.9.0 [Release 11g]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After applying Capture Patch 7, indexing functionality is not working properly. The values indexed get lost after the batch is released if these values contain accented letters (á é í ó ú) or some special characters like ñ.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Select a Capture only Client Profile which is not configured to commit.
2. Create a new batch with one document.
3. Release the batch.
4. Select an associated Index only Client Profile which is not configured to commit.
5. Index document with values that contain accented letters or some special characters, for example: Crédito - Jurídica - Año.
6. Release the batch.
7. Edit the batch.
8. Note the field is blank.
