Interaction Between Search Cache and DirectReleaseNewCheckinDoc (Doc ID 2024396.1)

Symptoms

If you have configured content server with the fast checkin option using the DirectReleaseNewCheckinDoc configuration entry, the search cache is not updated when new content items are checked in.  Even though these items may match the search criteria of a previously cached search, they will not show in the search results.
