CKEditor Image Copy & Paste Issue (Doc ID 2028380.1)

Symptoms

In Chrome (v42), Contributor UI does not allow you to copy an image into CKEditor, instead it prompts with a popup window which only accepts text content. The same use case works fine in FireFox (v37).

The popup window shows the following message:

"Paste
Because of browser security settings, the editor is not able to access your clipboard data directly. You are required to paste it again in this window.
Please paste inside the following box using the keyboard (ctrl/cmd+V) and hit OK."
