Symptoms

The WebLogic 12c server with HotSpot JDK 7u51 is enabled with Java Flight Recorder (JFR), but with the default recording disabled using the following JVM arguments:

What is overriding defaultrecording=false? How can the default JFR recording be disabled when using WebLogic? In production, it may be desired to enable JFR, but not have the continuous default recording running all the time. That way it can manually create the JFR recordings as needed, yet not incur the overhead of the default continuous recording.
