Symptoms

Using the Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g 11.1.1.6.0 or higher autocatalog feature fails to index the attribute and does not return the expected message:

ldap_search: DSA is unwilling to perform
ldap_search: additional info: OID-5018: Cataloging for attr <attribute name> is already in progress.
