Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

WebCenter Portal 11.1.1.8.5 Page is rendered with wrong template (only) when "page visibility" is set to false.

We have a requirement to render a specific page with different page-template than other pages in the same portal. Also that page should be hidden from the navigation.

When we setup the page with a specific page-template, and set page visibility to true, the correct template is display when we navigate to the page.
But when we setup the page with a specific page-template, and set page visibility to false (to hide the page from navigation query) the page is rendered using default template of the portal.

We are making these changes using the page properties. The advanced tab enables us to select the template we want to use specific to that page. This works fine until we select the page status to hide the page.
