"Could not find the AgentScheduler instance in order to process 'OdiGetPlanning' request" Error When Updating ODI 12c Scheduler (Doc ID 2044481.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.1.2 or 12.1.3 environment:

  1. Two or more Work Repositories exist.
            
  2. A Scenario scheduling for the all Work Repositories is created.
            
  3. Scheduling is correctly started on all the Work Repositories.
               
  4. Double-click on the Agent from ODI Topology, select [view schedule] -> [Update], Select the first Work Repository, then click OK.

    Update successful message will be displayed 
                
  5. In the same screen from the list of Work Repositories, select one of the Work Repositories and the following error will be raised:

    • In case a standalone Agent is used:
    • Note the same problem also arises in case a colocated Agent is used.
