"java.lang.NoSuchMethodError" when Pressing "Update Schedule" Button in ODI 12.1.3 (Doc ID 2057142.1)

Symptoms

The following message is signalled in ODI 12.1.3 when hitting the "Update Schedule" button in the ODI Topology UI for updating the Agent Schedules:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Schedule an ODI object with the Agent.
  2. In Topology, hit "View Schedule", and choose a Work Repository.
  3. Hit "Update Schedule", and the error appears in the logs.
