Goal

We have created a pattern for an asset type and when editing the asset, it generates the URL correctly based on the pattern. The problem arises when editing the asset again after it has been published. It updates the URL as not auto generated and gives the option to delete it as if it has been created manually. We also lose the reference pattern id. Why does this happen?
