Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environment was migrated to new servers. When running any scenario in the new environment, the error below occurs:

Changes

The following process was used to move the ODI environment from the source servers to the new target servers:

  1. Exported master repository database schema from SOURCE environment and imported that into TARGET environment database schema.
  2. Exported all the scenarios and load plans as 'xml' files from SOURCE via ODI studio.
  3. Imported all the scenarios and load plans as 'xml' files into TARGET environment.
  4. Execute the scenario and get the error "ODI-1213: Session preparation failure: scenario <SCENARIO> version <VERSION_NUMBER> does not exist in work repository <ODI_WORKREPOSITORY>".
