Applies to:
Oracle Coherence - Version 12.1.2.0.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In an entry processor the passed in entry is being updated:
with the fSynthetic flag set to true to mark this as a synthetic event. The purpose of marking this event as synthetic is application specific, to allow some additional filtering of events by other parts of the application.
None of the events received by a MapListener, registered on the cache, return true when CacheEvent.isSynthetic() is called to check to see if the event is synthetic or not. For more details, refer to Using Synthetic Events in the product documentation.
