REP-50125 : java.lang.ClassNotFoundException Adding Custom Jar File (Doc ID 2070031.1)

When attempting to customize the error message displayed by Reports 11g using a Java API the following error like the following occurs:

[WLS_REPORTS] [INCIDENT_ERROR] [REP-50125] [oracle.reports.server] [tid: 7] [userId: <userid] [ecid: <ecid>:-8000-0000000000003ee4,0] [APP: reports#] REP-50125 : java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JobRepositoryCustom  [[
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JobRepositoryCustom
at java.lang.Class.forNameImpl(Native Method)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Setup in the the REPORTS_CLASSPATH  adding your jar file i.e /local/apps/fmw/pfrd/as_1/reports/jlib/JobRepositoryCustom.jar at the end.
2. Restart the Reports Server.
3. Run a Report using reports URL, observe the error in diagnostics files.


Adding a custom java file to display customized message when using Job Repository and login fails.
