Symptoms

When trying to delete a site in Admin UI, we are seeing the following error:

Cannot delete.
This asset is in use and cannot be deleted.

and in sites.log the following is logged

[2015-10-08 10:57:45,746 BST] [INFO ] [http-8080-5] [com.fatwire.logging.cs] Publication:Delete exception com.openmarket.basic.interfaces.AssetException: Failed to check out the asset implicitly. The asset may be locked by other user.(-10014)[OpenMarket/Xcelerate/Admin/Site/DeleteSite#OpenMarket/Xcelerate/Admin/SitePost]
