Information in this document applies to any platform.

Unable to publish a deleted asset after it has been manually deleted from the destination environment.

An error resembling this can be found in the realtime publish logs:

[Unpacker] Task failure ResourceSaveTask with error com.fatwire.cs.core.realtime.DataException: Asset save failed for asset <AssetType>:<AssetID>
at com.fatwire.realtime.util.ResourceSaveUtil2._saveOneAssetType(
at com.fatwire.realtime.util.ResourceSaveUtil2._saveAssets(
at com.fatwire.realtime.util.ResourceSaveUtil2._saveGroupTrans(
at com.fatwire.realtime.util.ResourceSaveUtil2$1.execute(
at com.fatwire.cs.core.db.NestedTransactionBlock.execute(
at com.fatwire.realtime.util.ResourceSaveUtil2.saveGroup(
at com.fatwire.realtime.ResourceSaveTask._saveData(
at com.fatwire.realtime.ResourceSaveTask._execute(
at com.fatwire.realtime.ResourceSaveTask.execute(
at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(
at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$

Because it is not possible to remove a deleted asset from the publish queue, this can hold up the publish process going forward.
