OID 11g Replication Server Crashes Intermittently Generating Core Dumps (Doc ID 2072752.1)

Symptoms

OID 11g with LDAP Multimaster Replication configured
Replication Server crashes frequently generating core dump

A "gdb" output of the core file shows the following stack

Core was generated by '<ORACLE_HOME>/bin/oidrepld -p <PORT#> -inst 1'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.

From oidmon.log

No specific error seen in oidrepld log, but following error may visible in the logs

sgslufread: Hard error on read, OS error = 32
sgslufread: Hard error on read, OS error = 32
