OAM11g - The pasteConfig.sh script Fails With "ERROR - CLONE-20327 Invalid password file." (Doc ID 2080225.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to execute the pasteConfig.sh step of a Multi Data Center configuration the following messages are reported:

INFO : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CLONE-23281 Extract the packed domain from archive to temp location.
INFO : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CLONE-23282 Reading the extracted domain template and pasting server, machine, cluster, datasource configuration changes...
INFO : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CLONE-23287 Paste Server Configuration.
INFO : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CLONE-23290 Paste Machine Configuration.
INFO : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CLONE-23288 Paste Cluster Configuration.
INFO : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CLONE-23289 Paste DataSource Configuration.
SEVERE : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - ERROR - CLONE-20327 Invalid password file.
SEVERE : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CAUSE - CLONE-20327 The <DATASOURCE1> password file did not exist or first line did not contain password.
SEVERE : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - ACTION - CLONE-20327 Provide a valid password file.
SEVERE : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - ERROR - CLONE-20327 Invalid password file.
SEVERE : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - CAUSE - CLONE-20327 The <DATASOURCE1> password file did not exist or first line did not contain password.
SEVERE : Nov 10, 2015 14:24:01 - ACTION - CLONE-20327 Provide a valid password file.
