WebCenter Content (WCC) 12c has Imaging component embedded in the Content Server and provides the Imaging functionality to the WCC users.  This extends the Annotation functionality allowing content items to be annotated from Content UI (ADF UI).

This article provides the code snippet and service details for achieving the above requirement using RIDC API. 

The annotation can be done either for existing items or for items that are being checked in for which a new service has been created .
