Symptoms
Import of data to an Oracle table using SQL Developer fails for columns using Date and Time (and DATETIME formats). Further:
- even if Oracle TIMESTAMP data is output to a file and the same data imported, the format is not recognized and must be reselected
- failure to parse DATE, TIME or TIMESTAMP data on import causes subsequent columns to no longer be recognized and mapped by name, and become mapped to the same single column
