ODI SAP LKM Continues Execution After Failure to Open Data File Resulting in Misleading Errors (Doc ID 2087229.1)

Symptoms

When running a mapping using a SAP LKM, if the FTP/FSMOUNT location is not allowing to open or write the data file the error "Dataset not Open" is returned.

However, instead of exiting with the error, the mapping execution continues to next step in the ABAP program and fails while resulting in misleading errors in the dumps.

Changes

This error occurs only when the SAP LKM is configured to manual upload.
