Enterprise Capture Import Processor Fails With a Null Pointer Exception on Large Documents (Doc ID 2088092.1)

Goal

The Import Processor is configured to monitor the Import folder every 30 secs. When a large file is dropped into the folder, the following error occurs:

<Error> <oracle.odc.importprocessor.ImportJobSchedulerSessionBean> <BEA-000000> <EJB Exception: : java.lang.NullPointerException

The import processor is picking up the file before the write is complete. Is there any configuration setting to mitigate/fix this issue?
