Goal
When trying to use the APEX_JSON API in PL/SQL, a REST web services which returns JSON objects is being called.
- For larger JSON objects the parse method takes around 20 mins to just parse the JSON CLOB.,
- The equivalent SOAP API call takes approximately half the time for the same object. This can be seen in the following example:
