Goal

Oracle WebCenter Enterprise Capture (OWEC) Client: Requirements for local disk space and permissions.

The goal is to implement a high volume OWEC solution. The following request is information about the specification of desktop machines used to scan documents into OWEC using the dc-client and a TWAIN scanner. Specifically, can support help us confirm the following:

1) Does OWEC client store image files on the local desktop machine during and after scanning? If so:
  a) Where are the files stored (path)?
  b) At what point are the files removed? (e.g. on commit, on logout, etc.)
  c) Presumably suitable disk space needs to be allocated to ensure that a specific amount is available in whatever path OWEC will use?

2) Aside from transactional scanned image files, does OWEC client require storage capacity and any specific access permissions on the local machine? E.g.
  a) Does the client store bundle files at any particular location, and what disk space should be allocated for this?
  b) Is there any other disk space or file system permission consideration we should provide?
  c) Are there any configuration options the client should be aware of? E.g. in ODDC 10g the local temp path was configurable in the client.
