Publish Destination Site Tree Is Missing Pages Where the Publish Source Site Tree Is Fine (Doc ID 2098267.1)

Symptoms

The Publish Source Site Tree shows normally and working as expected in Contributor UI. The Publish Destination Site Tree only shows top-level nodes and all child nodes were "blank" entries i.e. page entry icon present but no text. When clicked on to open or edit a popup appears stating:

"You can't view the requested asset because it does not exist in this site. Use the Select Site link to select a different site, if you wish to access this asset."
