How to Setup LDAP Multi-Master Replication at Command Line in OID (Doc ID 1372095.1) was used to configure replication between oid1 on <HOSTNAME1> and oid1 on <HOSTNAME2> (multi master replica).

ERROR

The following error message appears in the OID replication log file at <ORACLE_INSTANCE>/diagnostics/logs/OID/oid1/oidrepld00-0000.log

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Used the following command to start repld process on <HOSTNAME1>:
oidctl connect=OIDDB server=oidrepld instance=1 componentname=oid1 flags="host=<HOSTNAME1> port=<PORT>" start
oidctl:oidmon is up and running on <HOSTNAME1>
oidctl:Waiting for oidmon to start OIDREPLD (instance=1)
