When Viewing a WebCenter Content Imaging Image, the Viewer is Causing Extra Network Traffic When Viewer Cache is Enabled (Doc ID 2099452.1)

Symptoms

There is a high amount of network chatter when Imaging is being used.  The tool HTTPWatch was used and is showing that when a user opens a document in the viewer, it is calling a POST operation over and over every 2-3 seconds until the user closes the window.

The POST operation is calling this URL:

This only happens when Viewer cache is enabled.
