Symptoms

Password protected PDF does not appear in framework folders with 'view -> published items' chosen on view

Items in workflow or not yet released can use the option 'all items'.

Secured PDF's will not be full text indexed. The item does get released as 'metadata only'.

It's released and therefore should be 'published'.
