OID11g - Unable To Update Attribute Orclsslenable for OID, ldapmodify hangs (Doc ID 2104487.1)

Symptoms

While attempting to modify orclsslenable using either ODSM or ldapmodify, the change does not occur.

LDAPMODIFY at command line with the following ldif hangs:

dn: cn=oid1,cn=osdldapd,cn=subconfigsubentry
changetype: modify
replace: orclsslenable
orclsslenable: 0

Also found errors in oidmon.log

Similar to the following:

Changes

 At one point OID was started using HOSTNAME <HOST1> but now OID is starting using <HOST2>
