Can Two Separate OAG Instances Be Configured on the Same Machine?
(Doc ID 2106667.1)
Last updated on MARCH 31, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.1.0 to 11.1.2.4.0 [Release 11gR1]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
By following the note:
"How To Configure Oracle API Gateway SSL On The 443 Port? (Doc ID 1644807.1)"
it is possible to configure a single OAG installation in in its own directory structure to listen to port 443.
Now, it is necessary to configure a second OAG installation in its own directory structure to listen to port 444. After finishing the configuration, the second gateway would not start. It always fails, providing a Java core file with the following error:
RAX=<ID>: in <OAG HOME>/apigateway/platform/jre/lib/amd64/server/libjvm.so at <ID>
RBX=<ID> is an unknown value
These are 2 COMPLETELY separate installations. Each installation has its own nodemanger and is a single Gateway instance.
What steps need to be performed to overcome the error and allow these two installations to work successfully together?
