Symptoms
Attempt to check-in an Email (Outlook) message containing a digital signature are not properly checked in. The extension used by the process is .dat instead of .msg causing Outlook to crash.
ERROR

Microsoft Outlook has stopped working
Restart Outlook
STEPS
-----------------------
1. Attempt to Check-in a digitally signed email with at least 1 attachment.
-ability to remove attachment is disabled & cannot exclude attachment on Check_In Form (by design for integrity)
-attachment converted to .dat (not native image format)
2. Finish check-in
-Outlook crashes
3. Review Content in WCC browser
-appears as attachment file name
-contains the entire email
4. Save File locally changing the extension to .msg
-file will open as expected; however, no native file for the original .msg file
