How to export custom WSDL's from source WebCenter Content server and import to target server using RIDC (Doc ID 2109878.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

WSDL files provide the ability to pass data that can be understood by Oracle Content Server services, which enables access to the content and content management functions within Oracle UCM. As per the customer requirements administrators can add as many custom WSDL's to the system so that it can be downloaded and used for further integration with external applications .

Migration of custom WSDL is a manual process since there is no OOTB utility to export from a source server and import them to the target servers . This becomes tedious for administrators since they have recreate the same set of wsdl's on the target server (say for eg moving from a Dev to UAT or Production instance) .

This article provides a RIDC based utility which based on the source and target server details would do the following set of actions :

1. Export the Custom WSDL from source server .

2. Import the Custom WSDL to target server .

3. Update the end point url for imported wsdl's to match the target WCC server url .

Sample code is attached with this article .
