Symptoms

When PL/SQL procedures accepting collection of parameters which are invoked using java.sql.CallableStatement, AWR report shows below query with long execution times and large number of Full Table scans in explain plan:

 

The slow performance manifests while accessing the stored procedures using User-Defined Types (UDTs).
