Proxy Plug-In 12.2.1 for Apache Failed to Start Apache With "Syntax error" (Doc ID 2115542.1)

Symptoms

After installing Proxy Plug-In 12.2.1 to Apache(2.2 or 2.4) on Windows 2012 R2, Apache cannot start even though the setting is correct.

When you run a syntax test for the configuration file, the following syntax error is thrown:

D:\Apache24\bin>httpd.exe -t
