Failed User Login Attempts are Causing UCM to Crash on Windows (Doc ID 2121641.1)

User tries to login and may wait for a long time to get a response back from the login attempt. The following error appears on the host running UCM:

Java(TM) Platform SR binary stopped working dialog

Any response to the dialog (e.g., click “Close the program”, click “x” close button) will cause the following:

UCM Managed Server will crash and needs to be restarted
User will see the URL “http://<host>:<port>/cs/login/j_security_check” and the following message
